This lets our customers choose the best option for their particular use case or location. Our customers are IoT and M2M device manufacturers or service providers operating on a global scale, such as micromobility, fleet management, or smart city companies, to name a few.

We are looking for a fullstack Senior Software Engineer

You will be one of the key people in our engineering team building 1oT's software (connectivity management platform with API) that helps global IoT service providers manage their SIM cards and billing. The self-service-based platform enables users to control and monitor SIM card sessions, switch SIM cards on/off, buy new SIMs, send SMS to the SIM, and much more.

Our client portfolio ranges from e-mobility to asset tracking and smart city solutions, so you will interact with various IoT sectors. The 1oT Terminal enables users to deploy tons of value-added services, such as setting up notifications, activating interactive reporting tools, and integrating with third-party services (e.g., Slack, Cisco Jasper). 

The position is based in Tartu (our R&D hub).

What you'll do:

• develop scalable and secure services on Java / Spring Boot / SQL and sometimes on TypeScript / Vue.js
• build internal integrations between multiple services via REST APIs or messaging queues
• build new pages and features for our web UI
• develop APIs that our customers integrate with
• design new value-added tools and capabilities to our system to differentiate us from the competition
• help with advancing the technical architecture of the platform.

What you'll bring:

• at least 6 years of professional Java experience
• a desire and hunger to build something from scratch
• problem-solving & get-shit-done attitude (no place for corporate mindset)
• interest in working with backend frameworks
• experience with building and working with different APIs
• experience with modern component-based frontend frameworks (such as React, Vue.js, Angular, etc.)
• experience with SQL databases
• excellent teamwork and self-management skills (dates, goals & responsibilities – micromanagement is not in our DNA)
• experience related to telecommunications or security development and implementation will come as a huge bonus.
